Crime Stoppers: Burglar took tablet, jewelry

An iPad mini, Samsung tablet and gold jewelry were among the items taken during a home burglary in North Linden last month.
As part of Crime Stoppers Crime of the pandora on sale, Columbus police are hoping someone recognizes the culprit caught on surveillance video.
At 11:55 a.m. on June 26, officers were called to a home in the 1300 block of Myrtle Avenue after an alarm was triggered. A woman who lives at the residence met officers there. Two windows were found open.
Police say the thief entered by forcing open a downstairs window. After he made this way through the home taking items, he left through an upstairs bathroom window and climbed down from the rear porch roof to the south side of the home.
The thief is described as a black male in his 20s with dreadlocks. He was shirtless when he committed the break-in.
A reward is being offered to anyone who might have information leading to the arrest or indictment of the suspect. Tipsters remain anonymous.
Anyone with information can call 614-461-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online at stopcrime.org. You can also submit tips by downloading a free application called P3 Tips on your phone.
