molecule necklace™ Makes Science Cool with the Etsy Launch of Personalized Molecular Jewelry

Creating molecular stand-outs in a crowd of a dime a dozen designs, molecule necklace quite literally branches out with the launch of cheap pandora charms.
25 Jul, 2017 – When was the last time science was the very definition of trendy? Possibly never? But now, an on-trend jewelry designer out of Tel Aviv has the 411 on what could only be described as the voguish approach to going nerdy.  Enter, Eugene Taranov.  He’s the out-of-the-box thinker that’s taking molecular structures to fashionistas on the prowl to make a statement.  Conversation piece anyone?

Calling all upwardly chic wearers and with-it trendsetters, Etsy has a new haunt. It’s Ket-Commerce, and the new line is MoleculENecklacEs by molecule necklace.  Fashioned out of 14k gold or sterling silver, the molecular structure of anything can be made to fit around the neck, the wrist, the finger, or on the ears.  This is custom-made jewelry that’s fully customized by the wearer. For instance, like a cup of coffee? The newly-launched Etsy store has wearable caffeine.  Intrigued by testosterone? Wear it! One can “break bad” and make a statement with molecules like Dopamine, Serotonin, Saccharin, TNT or Ethanol.  Or, they can break worse and go right for the hard stuff.
Eugene Taranov, CEO of molecule necklace said of his highly personalized jewelry on Etsy “We call this chemistry jewelry because that’s exactly what it is.  It not only represents chemistry, but it makes it.  When someone is wearing the Oxytocin molecule for example, when they’re asked what it is, the fascination starts.  It really does magnetize people and makes them ask you what you’re all about.  Every piece seductively does it job and tells your story.”

Priced between $20 and just over $100, depending on customization and metal chosen, the molecule necklace are on point.  With detail, Taranov captures the intricate branches of each molecule with interest.  And, for a limited time, the designer offers a 30% sale on any custom molecule design.  This design can be created as a necklace, a ring, or a bracelet.  With over 110 designs to choose from, some of the jewelry is offered as earrings as well.

Dubai Police bust jewellery thieves in just 48 hours They stole AED3 million worth of jewellery

© SHUTTERSTOCK
The Dubai Police have officially arrested the gang responsible for robbing over AED3 million worth of jewellery.
The city’s police force managed to arrest the team of five just 48 hours after they robbed a cheap pandora charms store in International City.
According to an official statement released by Dubai Police, the staff were locked in the bathroom while the gang stole the valuables. After grabbing what they could, the gang then fled the scene in different directions.

The case was investigated by officers at Rashidiya Police Station after receiving a call at 10am on Wednesday morning.
Speaking on the case, Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, assistant commander in chief of Research and Criminal Affairs, said there was over $16 million (AED60m) worth of jewellery in the store at the time of the theft.
He added that the execution and attention to detail lead them to believe that they were dealing with experts.

Following further investigation a special team was put in place who began their search by sharing details of the stolen goods across the UAE.
The investigation team was then able to identify the five individuals of Asian descent. Three of which were found hiding in one of the border areas in Al Ain city and two hiding in the Ruwais area in Abu Dhabi.

Following this success, the police then carried out an early morning raid on their suspected location, where they found and arrested all five culprits.
All of the stolen pandora birthstone rings along with the tools used to conduct the heist were found in their possession.

The commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, has since praised the team for their ability to catch the culprits so fast.
He also urged all business owners with large quantity of valuables to tighten their security.
This isn’t the first time that the Dubai Police have managed to bust a gang in such a short period of time.
In April this year, they managed to catch a team of six responsible for stealing AED2million worth of gold in just 24 hours.

JEWELRY: WHERE'S THE LINE BETWEEN MEN'S AND WOMEN'S ITEMS?

I agree for most outfits. However, I do think that with some very minimalist styles an understated pandora outlet can add a missing something I suppose in a manner somewhat like the way a tie does to a suit. For example, I like to wear black, grey, or white t-shirts a lot. They're comfortable, simple, flattering to a healthy physique, and convey a low-effort masculinity, but are perhaps a bit plain just by themselves. A simple necklace might add a touch of interest to pull everything together more.

But anyway, let's just assume necklaces might be permissible for the sake of argument. The question I had regards which ones are masculine and which ones are feminine. Where can the line be drawn between an item of jewelry that is really for a woman vs one that is masculine?
Ok, I get the point, it's a valid perspective and most likely representative of the majority of peoples' perceptions. However, if anyone else could provide a counterpoint I would very much appreciate hearing the other side of the argument.
Opinion on this will no doubt vary wildly. Mine is that in general jewelry on a man should be limited to a nice watch and one discreet ring. Or less. Necklaces on men invariably looks bad, unless part of a costume.

I can't provide a reasoned argument; it's simply a personal aesthetic judgement with no particular philosophy behind it.

BERLIN, Germany – At the opening of award-winning jewelry designer Miranda Konstantinidou's flagship store for her Konplott brand along Berlin's famed Kurfürstendamm, a Philippine flag was displayed prominently by the cash register.
It can be somewhat confusing trying to make its connection to the Greek-born Konstantinidou and her German business partner Angelo Kram. But as it turns out, Miranda’s work with Filipinos is an integral part of the business.
Konplott, which has 55 stores around Europe, sells jewelry exclusively made in the Philippines. It is in Mactan, Cebu, where Konstantinidou spends days designing jewelry. She employs 1,200 people on the island to help her bring them to life.
PRIME LOCATION. Opening a store in Berlin’s Kurfürstendamm is always a big deal for brands in the German capital.

“I live in Cebu. That’s my home where I feel safe. I even take a jeepney there,” the designer shared. “I just come here (to Europe) to see friends and visit shops. Everything happens in the Philippines.”
When Konplott started out, the major issue was finding people who have the level of craftsmanship Konstantinidou was looking for. After meeting a Filipina at a design fair and hearing about the country and its people, Konstantinidou found herself in the Philippines in 1999. “I went and in 4 days, I fell in love with everybody.”
“I called Angelo (Kram) and told him we will move production to the Philippines,” Konstantinidou recalled. “At first, he asked me if I was crazy because of the Abu Sayaff and I said there’s nothing dangerous and I felt so safe. He came and he also loved it.”
After starting out with just 10 people, the company now employs over a thousand people. The reason why the company chose to stay the Philippines for so long? The people. “I remember when I got married in the Philippines. Back then, we had 620 girls working for us and they all became my bridesmaids.”
Kram adds staying in the Philippines all this time has truly been a good decision for their business.

CREATIVITY. Konstantinidou describes herself as overly-creative and can draw inspiration from almost anything or anyone – even just people she sees on the street

“It’s about people. If you are high end, you need the people to understand fast, to communicate properly, and to be very good in handmaking,” Kram shared. “We don’t care how fast you are for the 10 thousandth piece, in our company, we have to be good from the first piece – and that’s a skill.”
Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez who’s in Germany for the Asia Pacific Forum (APF) dropped by the store opening. Here, he revealed how the government recognizes creativity as one of the strengths of the population. He adds that there is currently a task force focused on elevating design in the Philippines.
Lopez adds that Konplott’s pandora outlet story in the Philippines would hopefully encourage other businesses to come and invest. “In the Philippines, we don’t have necessarily lower wages compared to some of our neighbours but investors can see good quality of workmanship – more on the artisanship – as well as the good quality of people. I think this is why they love working in the Philippines.”

He adds that such stories should inspire investors at the APF and will, hopefully, help him and his delegation get the message across. “We’re on an economic breakout. All economic fundamentals there, the growth momentum is there. From the GDP to investment growth of 25%. Unemployment is down, we have a fairly young population. Cited to be hardworking, creative, and resourceful. The population is getting employed so you see a larger consumer market which many investors look forward to,” an enthusiastic Lopez shared.
Meanwhile, Konstantinidou agrees that while labour is a tad more expensive in the Philippines compared to China or Vietnam, it remains to be worth it. “It is worth the price for sure. In which other country can you see this craftsmanship? Everything here is handmade.”
FAMILY. Konstantinidou shows off a piece she designed, lovingly made by her Filipino workers who she considers family.

She adds that with the quality of work Filipinos can produce, she believes that there is a place for Filipino craftsmanship in the high-end market.
“In the high end market, Filipinos can be very good because they have the patience and the love to make it nice. They don’t want to make many (of the same piece). They get bored quickly. If you give them the same all the time, it doesn’t work”
In line with this, Konstantinidou is working with the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design to bring in European designers to Cebu. Two of them are already in the Philippines working on their own collections. – http://www.pandorabalckfriday.com/charms-cid-1.html
